Erfolgsgeschichten
Erfolgsgeschichten: Dr. Sebastian S.
I must say that the German language course was interesting. Being an intensive B2 language course, we had two teachers that showed a lot of enthusiasm, but the time was relatively short and we had to read a lot of materials. The idea is relatively simple, if you study hard, you will succeed, if not, than you can sit there for 6 months and still amount to nothing. The colleagues were from different parts of the world, different nationalities, different ages, there were rarely two people from the same country in one group, but all of them were friendly and eager to communicate.
There is enough time for visits and outings, with a lot of interesting things to see, but you can find details about these on the internet. People are used to strangers so they don’t shy away from talking English, but in smaller cities without German language skills it’s hard.
The job was ok. I attended the interview, and the people at the clinic have agreed to hire me, and 2 months later in started work. The fact that I went accompanied to the interview was definitely a very inspired move, without help I don’t think I would have had such success.
The colleagues were ok, with small exceptions. I also have Romanian colleagues so I feel like home. The hospitals are well equipped and very organized; there is no difference between city hospitals and hospitals in the countryside.
Further training courses are regular and have to be attended.
Dealing with the paperwork was simple. I just sent them to the firm and they handled the rest. After 2 hospitation weeks, I received a letter with the schedule for the Approbation.
After the exam I could actually start work.
