Consultant for Neurosurgery

The position is available in Germany in Hessen,   which is situated in west-central  part of the country and has borders with Niedersachsen, Thüringen, Bayern, Baden-Württemberg, Rheinland-Pfalz and Nordrhein-Westfallen.

The principal cities of Hessen include Frankfurt am Main, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt, Offenbach, Hanau, Gießen, Wetzlar and Limburg in the greater Rhine Main Area, Fulda in the east and Kassel and Marburg an der Lahn in the north part. The state capital city is Wiesbaden, and its largest city is Frankfurt am Main.

The hospital:

The position is available in a specialized center for spinal surgery, spinal injury treatment and neuro-urology, neurosurgery and intensive care. Each year, the hospital provides medical care for over 4100 patients from all federal regions, European countries and Non-European countries. Each year the hospital performs over 3000 surgical procedures.

The hospital has 280 beds for inpatient medical care.

The Neurosurgery department:

The department of neurosurgery is currently looking for a dedicated senior physician with in depth experience in the field of neurosurgery.  Candidates for this position should be ready to implement their vast medical expertise in the field of neurosurgery, in harmony with the existing clinic concept.

Ideal candidate:

• Senior Physician/Consultant in the field of Neurosurgery
• Graduate from a Medical School within the European Union + Norway, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Iceland.
• Very good German language skills , C1 level
